  Absolute leader in homemade flavor fresh goodness! This place is not convenient for most Columbian's and prices are mid range for soul food. With that said...do expect a warm and friendly staff and a very good meal. This place is not going to be quick and that's OK because your taste buds will thank you for waiting. If in a hurry I suggest you call ahead. Happy this place is in existence.

  I placed a takeout order at 12:13 pm. I was told the order would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I did not leave the restaurant until 1:06 pm with my food. Needless to say I waited for almost an HOUR. I ordered macaroni and cheese, green beans, corn bread and the famous sticky wings. The wings were my favorite part of the meal, and the green beans were not bad. However, the cornbread was wayyyyy too sweet, it was thick and heavy as if it had been weighed down in syrup. And the macaroni was awful. It was brown which led me to believe it was either old or from the bottom of the pan. All in all would I return? Only for the wings. And if I had an hour to waste.

  OMG!!! Super professional, personable, courteous, and welcoming staff and excellent food (hot, fresh, succulent, delicious). I'm a repeat offender of attacking the food. The sticky wings are my favorite, sweet and crunchy. The green bean are seasoned to perfection. The cabbage is tender, not mushy and savory. The greens are mouth watering (there a little sweet). Now, the cornbread is really like a piece of cake... Hands down, my favorite restaurant in Columbia.
